Episode/week 6 - You can do this (40 mins)
6 weeks ago, we were run walking for 30 seconds. How time has flown and how much your fitness and strength has grown. This session is about increasing the time spent continuously running once again as we move towards our goal of 30 minutes. This week I deliberately seek out flatter trails so that I can focus on keeping going rather than climbing hills.

Episode/week 5 - Run B (47mins)
Your 2nd choice of run for week 5. Like Run A, we have longer sessions of running and less time walking. But as always, focus on running at that 'chatty', sustainable pace. To match the level of running, I have included a longer warm up. Remember, 'week' is a loose term. Better to be confident and enjoy your running rather than race through the sessions. focus on one step at a time and keep going : )

Episode 5 / Week 5 - Run A (45 mins)
Week 5 and I have 2 versions of runs for you. Over the last 4 weeks we have worked on building up a solid base of fitness by getting out 2 or 3 times a week and running at a 'chatty' / easy pace of running of around 30 mins. It is now time to have longer periods of runs with fewer walks in between. It is all about maintaining that 'chatty' pace, keeping just enough challenge but at the same time pushing yourself that little bit more. The 2 versions will give you some variation during the week. Remember, 'week' is a loose term. Better to be confident and enjoy your running rather than race through the sessions.
