Jessica Emami interviews Hope Iranian on the revolt of masses of Generation Z Iranians in the wake of Masha Amini’s death.
Hope (not her real name) is an Iranian American teacher and human rights activist who became an activist after the September 2022 murder of 22 year old Mahsa Amini by the Iranian morality police, joining thousands of Generation Z Iranians spurred into action.
Hope and the Mahsa Army have been advocating for the Mahsa Amini Human Rights and Security Accountability Act (MAHSA Act) (H.R.589/ S.2626) to impose sanctions on the Supreme Leader and President of Iran and their affiliated offices for human rights abuses and terrorism.

Jessica Emami interviews Asaf Eyal on his very public resignation from Columbia University’s School of Social Work where he served as a Field Instructor. After reporting disturbing mobs of antisemitic and anti-Zionist intimidation to administrators who did nothing to protect Jewish students, Asaf turned his diploma upside down and started a viral trend of alumni turning their degrees upside down to pressure campus administrators to take antisemitism seriously.
The Flip Your Diploma campaign went viral, and is now one of the forces challenging campus administrators to take a deeper look at pro-Hamas student organizations that have crossed the line of pro-Palestinian advocacy into pure unadulterated antisemitism.
