Soon-to-be first-year Sophie Prock, sits down with President Ana Marie Cauce of the University of Washington. Cauce tells us why UW, the most exciting parts about attending college in the city of Seattle, and what it's like to be president at one of the world's top research institutions. 

Dr. Michaela King is a researcher at the University of Washington. 88.9's Sophie Prock sat down with her to discuss her research and work in the field of glaciology. Listen as Dr. King tells us how glaciers are impacted by today's changing world, and what it's like to be a climate scientist in the field. 

As the Seahawks have made their way into the playoffs for the 2023 NFL season, Seattle's fans are getting more and more excited. Listen as Sophie asks Norb about how he supports the Hawks, and his predictions for the games to come.

One of KMIH's Staff, Hayley Nguyen created a podcast about her dad's journey of escaping Vietnam at 13 without his family. It's a story of struggle, survival, and strength to achieve freedom and opportunity. This podcast was one of 10 winners of the New York Times Podcast Competition!

KMIH's Director of Staff, Sophie Prock, had the chance to interview Daniela Melgar, the Drama and English 12 teacher at Mercer Island High School. Mrs. Melgar explained what the Race Literature course is, and why students should consider taking it. In this English class, students are able to experience different literature written by all types of authors from different backgrounds through numerous lenses.
