Three Los Angeles based theatre makers dissect, debate and disseminate works of the great Playwrights as well as anything and everything of, or related to, the art of Theatre. Main Feed: Each week the nerds get together and discuss 3 plays by a specific playwright as well as their cultural impact and context in the hosts' own personal lives. Also they spotlight the beautifully burgeoning LA Theatre Scene as it grows into the new home for experimental theatre makers. Bonus Series: Between each Playwright a bonus series called Theatre Theater 'N Stuff! provides a break from play reading. The nerds get to choose a theatre adjacent topic for discussion. Always interesting, sometimes vulgar and never too serious these three friends may just convince you to like reading plays again. Mandy Rubeli (she/they) is a multifaceted artist who strives to create work that is absurd, existential, and somehow, still a little funny. Mandy got her BFA in Acting from Emerson College in December 2020, and has recently shifted to a deeper focus on writing and directing. The Hollywood Fringe Veteran wrote and co-directed the hit Arizona Rain, receiving the 2023 Hollywood Encore Producer Award and a nomination in the top five for several other categories. This year Mandy is workshopping her newest piece at the 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival this summer, Dinosaurs, which is being written as we speak. She is currently looking forward to the support, community, and constructive criticism Fringe offers in order to help better her craft.
