Weekly review, commentary, and amateur analysis of Buffy the Vampire Slayer by a bunch of buffoons. Check us out at MalarkeyTV.com/buffoons or email us at buffoons@malarkeytv.comBuffoons the Vampire Podcast is: Ryan (@FauxRomano), Bobby (ComplexAction.net / @GMFunkytown), Aaron (MalarkeyTV.com / @Malarkey_TV), and Grant (SlopStache.com / @TheSlopstache)
The thrilling conclusion of the Angel/Buffy omg two-parter. We're still getting back into the groove of things, so bear with us!
We're back after a bit of a hiatus. Everybody got busy with real world stuff! Bobby went to GenCon and now just does his shadowrun related shows. Grant's moving across the the country. Aaron moved across the world!
But the three of us still managed to make the time to bring you sub-quality Buffy-related shenanigans.
Soooooo we recorded two episodes back to back. Again without Mr. Frankenberger. Again 'live?' I guess? In this episode we talk about good parenting, dealing with death, dealing with death poorly, and cowboy vampires. I unfortunately can't remember the Q&A, but I know we talk about pooping a lot in the back-end (haha) of this episode so godspeed good listener!
Okay, they're all 'live', but Aaron, Grant, and Ryan recorded this one together in the same room! While the Bob's away we actually get together and are a little more dumb and goofy. You can probably tell. Aaron is on the soundboard and sorta hosts while Grant and Ryan goof off. In today's episode we talk again about bad parenting, Pokemon Go, Paul Simon slide whistle instruments, drug cookies, and more. In the Q&A section RQG asks: What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
In the thrilling conclusion to the two-part episode the buffoons get a little yelly. and a little cursy. This one isn't for babies. At the top of the show Aaron and Grant get a little lascivious, bob talks about his kids again, Aaron takes us on an craigslist adventure as he prepares to leave the country, Ryan talks about a trip to Roswell NM, we quiz Grant and more! On the back end we answer a question from long-time listen Brent: "What would you name your Bronze 90s band?" Well... we sort of answer it anyway.
On today's episode revisit the blast from the past in last episode, talk about random numbers texting rando photos, Vampire Grant, Earth 2, Buffy fashion, career days, we "cast" some more spells, talk about the vampire effect on global warming, and more! In the Q&A we are asked a question by Grant Robertson who asks "Do you read reviews about a movie before deciding whether to watch it or not?"
On today's episode the Grant is away, so we're joined by guest Rachel (@checkerdandy) a long time fan of our buffoonry going years back. She's great and joins us on discussing the Transformers and Cube series, napes, John Cusack, Gavin Rosdale, Amy Yip, Cordelia regression, Giles/Jenny PDA, tattoo removal and more! Rachel faces off against the 'Quiz Grant!' quiz and we pull a horrible auditory gem from 2005 out of the Buffoon vault of terribleness!
No show notes this week because the episode is already late! Lo siento!
The halloween episode! Principal Snyder has the great idea to send the gang, a bunch of good for nothings, out as trick-or-treat chaperones. Little do they know their going to become the costumes they're wearing!
Expect for Cordie because she doesn't shop at pleb shops.
We're back! Today we discuss cafeteria food, milk cartons, Jormungand, Ouroboros, Angel hate, Xander jerkiness, Cordie's religious beliefs, party safety and more. In the question corner, Random Question Generator is back with the question: What's the first thing you notice in a guy? Come on and let's party in the frat dungeon woo YEAH!
