RugbyPass Offload is a weekly show hosted by Marc Edwards with a stellar cast of current and former professional players, including former Scotland's Ryan Wilson and Bristol's Max Lahiff as well as regular guests like Nigel Owens, Simon Zebo, Jamie Roberts and Jack Nowell. Each week the panel will be rounding up all the latest action from the rugby world and giving unrivalled insight into our game in a relaxed and lighthearted format. We're delighted to be joined by the original Ultimate Beast in Springbok legend Pierre Spies, to hear his incredible story which has taken him from a close shave with death in 2006 and missing out on the world cup in 2007 to fighting back and becoming a SA legend and being the main clog in destroying the Lions in 2009. We also hear how his struggles on and off the field, have led him to nowadays being a Minister in the christian church back in SA. Most importantly he reveals his secrets on how became such a freak athlete - at 6ft 4", 111 kg and runs 100m in just 10.7 seconds. He is truly a once in a lifetime athlete! Plus the lads give us their take on all the big rugby headlines including - Why did Cowan Dickie miss his medical at Montpellier? We're joined by the man of the moment in Scottish and Lions legend Stuart Hogg, who a couple of weeks ago shocked the rugby world by announcing his retirement from the sport at merely the age of 30! We get the inside scoop on why he's really decided to call it a day after the world cup, we get his reaction to Olly Woodburns ridiculous red card on the weekend and Jack Nowelll's punishment for tweeting about it, plus he takes us through his career sharing some of his greatest stories. Today we're joined by a proper legend in Victor Matfield, a man who's represented his country 127 times, won the currie cup 3 times, the super rugby title 3 times, the tri nations twice and the world cup and is widely regarded as one of the greatest forwards in the history of the game. For the first time ever, he reveals his incredible story which started off with him scrapping with Bakkies Botha as teenagers and ended up with them being known as the greatest sporting partnership in the world. Victor doesn't leave anything behind in this incredible interview, taking us through his enjoyment in whipping young Springboks in their initiation and the tragic mistake he made with Mark Andrews before his very own, fighting Bakkies Botha because they hated each other initially, Punching Bizmark Du Plessis, beating the All Blacks with Barbarians and the hilarious stories on the piss that week, relives the physicality of the 2009 lions tour and reminisces on Simon Shaw being one of the most underrate players of all time, shares his memories of winning the world cup in 2007 (where he was man of the match in the final and player of the tournament), reveals the crisis meeting in detail that unfolded after their shock loss to Japan in 2015, constructs his greatest ever Springbok XV from players he played with during his 127 caps, explains his incredible memories from Toulon, why he retired and then decided to reverse that decision, why he hated his Northampton Saints experience due to Dorian West, plus much much more....

We've dragged the lads to the studio in London on a Sunday afternoon to have a couple pints and discuss the highs, lows and controversies from an epic weekend of European rugby, but just as they started to relax into the session, we surprised them with the presence of Kate Ovens (world famous competitive eater) and forced them to take her on in an epic food challenge. Today we're delighted to be joined by arguably the best player in Europe over the last 2 years in France and Toulouse 2nd Row Thibaud Flament to hear about his meteoric rise over the last 5 years, which has taken him from playing fly-half for the 5th XV at Loughborough University to winning every single major honour in Europe in merely a 12 month period. His story is perhaps one of the craziest and definitely the most inspiring in modern rugby, even when he was playing for the worst team at his university, he refused to give up on his dream to become a professional rugby player and his determination, hard work and sacrifices over the last 5 years, haven't just turned him into a professional player but they've turned him into a global superstar!
