In this episode of Turkish TV Obsessed, we discuss the sixth episode of "As the Crow Flies.” Here's what we discuss:
Kiss & Chaos
We pick up right after that smarmy kiss between Lale and Kenan. Lale pulls away and asks if he's drunk, but Kenan doubles down, whining about "mixed signals" and wondering why he’s "sleeping alone" while she has "two husbands." (Why choose, amirite?!)
Selim's Not Buying It
Lale gets home early, only to face an awkward interrogation from her husband, Selim. He’s not falling for the “everything’s fine” routine, and Lale’s response? Jumping straight to divorce talk! Zero to 100 real quick!
A Major Burn
Selim drops a bomb when he says, “Unlike Kenan, I can't just leave. I’m stuck here and I hate myself for it.” Yikes! The tension is real, folks.
Lale: Walking Dead Vibes
Lale shows up at the office looking like she just wandered off a zombie set—standing in the doorway like she hopes to disappear if she stands still enough.
Muge: Not the Best Friend
Lale vents to Muge, hoping for support, but Muge brushes her off with a simple “Eh!” and moves on. Friendship goals? Definitely not.
Gul Is NO JOKE
Gul, the queen of scheming, makes her move. She’s onto Asli and starts digging into her file—demanding to know more about the "lucky girl" who landed Lale's assistant role.
Asli’s Phone Games
Asli’s playing dirty. She fake answers a call in front of Lale, pretending it’s Lale’s daughter in trouble. Lale panics live on air, but like the pro she is, she snaps right back into work mode after confirming her daughter’s fine.
Yusuf Drops Wisdom
After Asli demands that BusBus (aka Yusuf) posts a scandalous rumor that Kenan’s sleeping with her, Yusuf delivers some solid advice: “It’s not about the climb, it’s what you do when you get there.” Asli’s too far gone to listen.
Sad Boat Kenan
Kenan is sulking on his mope boat (again) when Lale confronts him. Things get heated, but he insists he doesn’t want anyone but her. Lale’s not convinced.
The Ultimate Showdown
The moment we’ve been waiting for! Lale confronts Asli, calling her out for all the manipulation. But Asli’s not backing down and delivers a chilling line: “You can’t fire me now, because it’ll confirm you had an affair with Kenan.” Oof!
Checkmate: Lale’s Revenge
In an epic power move, Lale announces in front of the entire team that Asli is being promoted—to a small-town station in freezing Ankara. Good luck, Asli! Karma’s a cold dish (literally).
This episode is hands-down one of the best yet. The manipulation, drama, and cliffhangers are at an all-time high. As the Crow Flies continues to deliver, and we can't wait to see how this all unravels!
