I’m going to mix it up a bit and give you a quick Motivational Minute. This is where I give you highly actionable advice to apply to your day immediately. Today, we are talking about taking the shot. To do that, you must identify and visualize the targets you want to hit. You might not get it on the first, second, third or tenth try, but in the process, you will continue to get closer and closer to your goal.

If you like this sort of advice then you’re going to love my new book and audiobook Rise and Grind, available wherever books are sold.

Today, I’m proud to have one of my fellow Sharks, Barbara Corcoran, on the show. We sat down to discuss how she overcame a broken relationship and failed business partnership to grow her own company, The Corcoran Group, into a multi-million-dollar real estate firm.

What makes Barbara so amazing is that, even though she’s ruthless in her professional life, she’s also one of the most generous and positive people you’ll ever meet. I really enjoyed listening to what she had to say, and I think you will, too.

Today, she’s Uber’s Chief Brand Officer and her work has been celebrated by AdWeek, Billboard Magazine, and Fast Company, which named her one of the 100 most creative people in the world.

I can’t stop bragging about my man, Kyle Maynard. Kyle was born a congenital amputee. A rare condition caused him to never fully develop arms and legs in the womb. But before you jump to conclusions, let me brag about this guy: He was a high school wrestling champ—whooping other kids with full abilities—and went on to win weight lifting competitions, fight MMA, and even climb Mount Kilimanjaro!

“Incapable” was never in his vocabulary. And I hope his mental strength will stick with you and remind you that you can go further than you thought you could.
