Bayern started off poorly but fought themselves back into the game following an impressive first half by RB Leipzig. Why are Bayern still so unpredictable? And are RB Leipzig, with their historically good start, a real title contender alongside Leverkusen and under-the-rader Dortmund? Stuttgart and Wolfsburg continue in strong fashion, while Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt are struggling for goals and points. At the bottom of the table, Mainz, Köln, and Bochum are having a disastrous start to the question, and at what point can we expect departures? Jan  (@JanAageFjortoft) provides some further insight into the Max Eberl drama between RB Leipzig and Bayern Munchen, while alongside Markus (@MarkusFjortoft), they name their Players of the Week and 2. Bundesliga recap.

For a former Bundesliga and Eintracht Frankfurt striker, it is twofold for Jan (@JanAageFjortoft) at the moment. Frankfurt remains undefeated but is struggling to score enough goals. However, the chase to claim the Torjägerkanone is well and truly on as the likes of Stuttgart's Guirassy, Leverkusen's Boniface, and of course, Bayern's Kane are recording numbers that far exceed last season's rather underwhelming figures. We also check in with Julien Laurens (@LaurensJulien) a highly respected French journalist and pundit, who provides us with further insight into Bayern's wonderkid, Mathys Tel. Finally, we conclude with our 2. Bundesliga special and Jan and Markus's (@MarkusFjortoft) Players of the Week!

What a thriller! Jan (@JanAageFjortoft) was at the Bayern Munich - Bayer Leverkusen game, and what a game we were served as the two title contenders shared the points at the Allianz Arena. Jan's got a man-crush on Xabi Alonso, as his pitch-side interviews for ESPN provided insight into how the players and managers reflected on the game. Jan and Markus (@MarkusFjortoft) also discuss the other title contenders, such as the high-flying RB Leipzig, the not-all-too-unconvincing Dortmund, and, let us dream while we can, Stuttgart and Hoffenheim. Heidenheim recorded their first-ever win in the Bundesliga as Head Coach Frank Schmidt enjoyed the record of becoming the longest-serving head coach in German football history. We also discuss the latest on the search for Germany's next manager while naming our Bundesliga Player of the Week.

Hansi Flick has been dismissed as Germany's national team coach following their 1-4 loss to Japan in Wolfsburg. He was brought in with great optimism after achieving a treble triumph with Bayern, but Germany's defeat to Japan marked their third consecutive loss under his leadership. During Flick's tenure, Germany managed to win just one of the last six games, resulting in the second-worst record in history for the DFB, with only Erich Ribbeck having a worse record with the German national team.

The search for a new manager continues, led by Sporting Director Rudi Voller, President Neuendorf, and Vice-President Hans-Joachim Watzke. Jan Aage Fjortoft  (@JanAageFjortoft) answers Markus's (@MarkusFjortoft) questions to help us understand why and how things went so wrong for Flick and German football,

In addition, we will delve into discussions about potential replacements as Germany seeks to restore hope ahead of the Euros, which will be hosted at home next year.

Jan (@JanAageFjortoft) has been to the Vatican with Eintracht Frankfurt, believe it or not, and so we start off our Bundesliga Round 3 analysis, as Markus (@MarkusFjortoft) asks one former Eintracht #9 about another departing Eintracht #9, Kolo Muani, who is leaving for PSG. We delve into the transfer strategies of Bayern, Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Leverkusen and the people behind the good, the bad, and the ugly. Plus, we give special shoutouts to our Players of the Week. Oh, and Hertha Berlin lost 6-4. Just another normal day in the 2. Bundesliga.

The second week of Bundesliga is concluded, and reporting from a hotel room in Manchester, Jan (@JanAageFjortoft) and Markus  (@MarkusFjortoft) assess Dortmund's unconvincing start to the season, while Leverkusen, in contrast, are looking increasingly likely to contend right at the very top this season. RB Leipzig's second half comeback ensured they're back on track after last weekend's loss to Leverkusen, while Harry Kane ensured he's off to a high-flying start to his Bundesliga career. Lots to unpick, as Jan and Markus also provide their insights on the standout player of the round, including a Bundesliga debutant and a striker with Norwegian top-flight experience.

The Bundesliga season has finally commenced, and it certainly lived up to the expectations, treating us to a total of 34 goals spread across the 9 exciting games. Notably, Harry Kane managed to secure a goal and an assist, Kevin Behrens shone as he cycled home with a remarkable hat-trick, while Xabi Alonso seamlessly picked up where he left off, guiding his team to victory over fellow championship contenders RB Leipzig.

In a thrilling encounter, a Gladbach team in the process of rebuilding managed to share the points with Augsburg in an intense 4-4 match. Under the leadership of Hoeneß, Stuttgart displayed their dominance by overwhelming Bochum. Additionally, newly promoted Heidenheim and Darmstadt faced defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg, highlighting the challenges they may encounter this season.

Finally, Jan and Markus provide their insights on the standout player of the round.

We are here to officially launch the commencement of the upcoming 2023/2024 season, while we delve into the review of RB Leipzig's remarkable victory against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Thanks to the exceptional performances from players like Xavi Simmons and the hat-trick hero Dani Olmo, the question arises: Can RB Leipzig maintain this momentum and potentially emerge as champions this season? Tuchel asserted that there existed no distinction between this team and the one that suffered defeat against RB Leipzig on the 33rd matchday. What implications does this statement hold for Tuchel and the work undertaken by him and his coaching staff? Could his position be in jeopardy already? Additionally, with Harry Kane's much-anticipated arrival in Munich, can Bayern hope to resolve all of their existing challenges?
