This IS the podcast you are looking for! The Force is strong with Entertainment Weekly nerds Dalton Ross, Devan Coggan, and others as they geek out on all things Star Wars (the movies, the TV shows, the books, the toys) while humming bars to “Yub Nub” silently in their heads. Follow now, it’s not a trap! Theme Music by Brightarm Orchestra

It’s time to feature the creatures! This week, Devan and Dalton pick out their favorite Star Wars creatures ever. Will they go cute and cuddly or big and terrifying? Listen in to find out. Plus, Devan has a new plastic cat and Dalton has way too many Star Wars themed cat names to offer up as suggestions. Which one should she choose? Also, a prop from the original Star Wars film sets an auction house record. We’ll reveal what it was and how much it went for. That and much more!

No more Ahsoka? No problem! That’s because we have plenty of other stuff to get into this week. Stuff like another round of our favorite game: Star Wars True or False? This time, Devan quizzes Dalton and makes him stake out some controversial opinions on Star Wars topics. But that’s not all. We’ll also delve into the latest Star Wars news to come out of New York Comic-Con and react to your voice mails at our listener hotline. Call and leave yours at 657-799-1566.

Our former cohost Lauren Morgan is back for the week to present her list of the three things she loved about the TV series Ahsoka, as well as the three things that drove her crazy about the show. And then, we’re joined by Ahsoka’s director of photography, Eric Steelberg, who discusses creating the look of the series. Only one episode of Ahsoka left! We go through everything that went down in episode 7 (Threepio! Anakin! Some A-hole senator!) and also look ahead to next week’s finale. We also react and respond to your voice mail messages left at 657-799-1566. Plus, some company did research on what they claim are the least popular Star Wars movies ever, so naturally we have to dive into that as well. Dive in with us!

It was a two-for-the-price-of-one deal on this week’s episode of Ahsoka, as not only did Grand Admiral Thrawn make his live-action debut, but we also got to see a non-hologram version of Ezra Bridger. We take a trip to the galaxy of Peridea to break down everything that happened in episode 6 — including Baylan Skoll’s mysterious plan.

Well… that was awesome. Anakin Skywalker’s return continued on this week’s episode of Ahsoka, and it was crackling with lightsaber-crossing intensity as the title character did battle against her former master, seeing shades of the monster he eventually became. What began with some playfully light banter escalated… quickly. But it was all part of Ahsoka’s training to resist the kill-and-don’t-be-killed path that her master went down. We break down the entire exchange — as well as the appearance of another Clone Wars favorite. Plus, we are joined by Hera herself, as Mary Elizabeth Winstead talked to us before the actor’s strike, and we have that interview ready to roll. So come roll with us as we once again deep dive into all things Ahsoka.

Episode 4 of Ahsoka was a huge one as it featured the return of the title character’s former master, Anakin Skywalker. And this week’s episode of the Dagobah Dispatch is equally huge as we not only break it all down, but are also joined by Shin Hati herself, Ivanna Sakhno, who sat down with us before the actors’ strike to chat about both her character and the show. We’ll get into it with the Ahsoka star and also talk about all the huge battles that took place on this week’s installment. Fire up the hyperspace ring because it’s time to blast off! And call us at 657-799-1566 to let us know what you thought of this week’s Ahsoka episode.

EW’s Christian Holub joins us for a deep dive into Ahsoka episode 3 — featuring cranky droids, chancellor cameos, and an impressive lightsaber space walk. Plus, Diana Lee Inosanto talks about bringing the villainous Morgan Elsbeth to life in an interview conducted prior to the start of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

The first two episodes of Ahsoka are out now, and we are breaking down all the big surprises along the way. We get the timeline of the first two installments, the connections to Star Wars Rebels, the kick-ass villains, and ponder why a lightsaber to the chest is just a flesh wound. Plus, in addition to recapping and reviewing the show, we also have an exclusive audio excerpt from the latest Star Wars book— From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi. Not only that, but said audio excerpt is read by none other than Adam Scott. Want to hear the Parks and Recreation and Severance star playing a cranky stormtrooper. Here’s your chance! You can also call us and leave us a message for the pod with your thoughts on Ahsoka so far. Just dial us up at 657-799-1566.
