Join family therapists and authors Ken Dolan-Del Vecchio and Nancy Saxton-Lopez as we speak with our guest, veterinarian Dr. Andraya Cole, about the training that veterinarians and veterinary students get (and don't get ) on how to relate compassionately to their human clients.
Andraya Cole, DVM, MPH's brief bio:
Dr. Cole joined the practice at South Deerfield Veterinary Clinic in September 2021. She grew up in Central Massachusetts, and has enjoyed being back close to home. Dr Cole attended Hamilton College in upstate New York for undergraduate studies and Washington State University for Veterinary School. She also holds a masters in public health from the University of Minnesota.
Dr Cole enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice but particularly loves working with cats and small ruminants/camelids as well as client education. In her spare time, Dr Cole enjoys farming with her husband and daughter, doing jigsaw puzzles, and discovering new places for great food.
